We are a small responsible breeder that only has dogs at our home. We do not partner nor farm out our dogs for breeding purposes. Each of our breeding dogs live here with us at our home as they are part of our family and will continue to live with us until the time comes for them to cross the rainbow bridge. On a few select occasions we will place one of retired dogs into a loving retirement home.
We do generally have a wait list for our puppies as our prospective paw-ents appreciate our dedication and personalized service that we provide to each of puppies and the new paw-ents. We are always happy to add you to the wait list after you have a completed and have an approved application on file with us.
All of our dogs are genetically tested for DM, vWD1, EIC and the fluffy gene as well as the recommended OFA testing (Hips and Eyes) by the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America. We have all the testing recorded with OFA so it can easily be found on the dogs record. We will gladly give you our dog's AKC Registration Name and or number that is needed to look up our dogs on the OFA site if you would like prior to completing an application. Also each family is provided with copies of OFA records and photos of the parents when they receive a puppy.
All of our puppies are raised in our home, handled daily by us from the moment they are born. They are born in our master bedroom right next to our bed where they stay until they are about three weeks of age. Then they are moved into the puppy room that is right off the formal room which is the heart of our home so they are exposed to all kinds of different sounds, smells, textures and played with so they are very well socialized. Our puppy paw-rents always tell us they’ve never had such a loving puppy before. I firmly believe this is because of how we raised them, love on them and socialize with them.
All of our puppies are sold on a spay/neuter puppy contract, a goody bag with personalized items picked out for each puppy like a blanket, toys and chews, a container full of food that they have been eating, age appropriate shots and worming schedule, a vet check where they are microchipped and receive the 1st vaccination in the puppy series prior to them leaving as well as making sure they are healthy and ready to head home with the new parents. We also provide what I call a "Puppy Handbook" that is over 90 pages of things that will help you raise your new little family member.
We are always available to assist or answer any questions that our new Circle Heart Corgis family members have once they become part of our family.
